Ariel Webb is an artist that specializes in using different mediums such as oils, acrylics, watercolor, indoor wall paint, graphite and digital coloring. A few unique mediums she specializes in are tea and coffee paintings, along with pigment handmade from rocks in Arizona. She’s also known for her murals on walls and furniture.
She grew up in a small town of Pima, Arizona where she found her love for art. Drawing came naturally to her but it wasn’t until she was around the age of twelve that she developed an emotional connection to painting. Painting was a way for the young artist to escape reality and help her survive through her teenage years. Now eighteen years later and through much counseling she found that the main reason she was able to sustain her mental health through art.
Seeing others suffer with depression as I did and still do, motivates me to reach out and help them by teaching art regardless of age or skill.” - Ariel Webb.
Her art education continued in college where she met inspiring people who knew her limits and pushed her beyond those limits. Kenny Rhodes and Noah Bradley have both taught and inspired her to never stop creating. Ultimately she has worked as a preschool art teacher and an art instructor at a ‘paint & sip’ company.
Being a mother of three, she now offers private art classes either in person or via zoom. When she isn’t teaching she spends her time creating more art by commission and is currently working on a web comic.
